ELI is using two different programs for interaction while we are here at the conference. One is Google Wave, which is something I will learn more about at 4:00 p.m. at the interactive session, and Pathway.com (http://eli2010.pathway.com), which I haven't logged into yet, but it has user profiles and can direct me to the different speakers for me to contact.
Looked at the conference program...as always, every thing I would like to see is at the same time. (Don't worry Matt, I'll attend more than one session per day!) :)
Even though Carolyn Lowe and I had some trouble getting to Austin last night, dinner was awesome at Manuels (http://www.manuels.com/). April's post for a pic of my Chile Relleno del Mar; it was the biggest poblano I have ever seen and other than the small cap of cheese at the top, it was packed with shrimp, blue crab, and bay scallops. Breakfast was also wonderful--gingersnap blueberry pancakes.
Luckily there is a Starbucks in the hotel! My Americano and I are off to the Digital Histories for the Digital Age: How Do We Teach Writing now lecture.
TTFN!
