Digital Histories for the Digital Age: How Do We Teach Writing

This is the first general session and so there are quite a few people here. FYI - for Matt Smock...I am taking photos when I can.

One thing I wanted to mention is that we were invited to put up to five stickers on our name tags. I've never seen this before. Interesting idea.

I will try to take pics of each of these for our group so you can see how each of us identify ourselves with our connection to technology (and ourselves in general).

Am a wee bit confused on the different between ELI and EDUCAUSE. Am hoping that my time here will clarify.

I look forward to seeing your photos from the conference, April.

Perhaps I can help explain the difference between ELI and EDUCAUSE:
- EDUCAUSE is a very broad group that deals with pretty much all aspects of information technology as it relates to higher ed--everything ranging from network architecture to enterprise software systems like Banner, as well as some educational technogy.

- EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative (ELI) is a narrower sub-group of EDUCAUSE that focuses on how technology impacts learning.
